Select the link titled "50 Ways to Help the Planet". Examine the many ideas listed at this site. Choose one, and post a response here describing what you will do to put this idea into action in your own home and life. Then, go ahead and try this for a week.
After the week is over, respond here to your original post, and journal your experience. You may journal through a video, voki, or using any other technology tool. In your journaling, think about the following questions. How easy was this green activity for you? Did you meet any resistance with friends, family, or others? Can you or will you continue this "green" habit? Why or why not? What would you say to others about trying this idea?
Now, read/listen/watch one other classmate's activity, and journal. Respond in writing to your classmate's post.

Responsibility
Responsiblity is the foundation of the 4 R's. Teaching the practices of reducing, reusing, recycling and refuse is the easy part; motivating our youth to act responsibly is the task. What do you do already that helps in greening the Earth?
It Ain't Easy
Being green isn't as easy as it looks in today's world of exploding technology. Our demand for newer and newer technologies puts our energy requirements at an all time high. The paper route may be a thing of the past, however, the use of cell phones, bluetooth, email, chat, blogs, etc. has created an added demand for energy to power this technological revolution. What would you suggest to help with this?
